Taper Tension Systems

There are a great many older winders still running that do not have the same advantage as newer winders. Roll quality is sometimes compromised due to one simple problem. The inability to lower winding tension as the roll builds. There is now available a low cost solution.

Converting Systems Inc. has been designing and providing taper tension systems for more than 5 yrs. With numerous systems throughout the industry, we are confident our systems will work in your facility.

Kit is available for customer installation.

Available for use on rewinds OR unwinds, these systems are very dependable.

There are two versions available. Version 1 utilizes a non-contact ultrasonic sensor to measure the roll diameter. Version 2 utilizes a non-contact analog sensor for diameter feedback.

1) Touchscreen for data entry and collection.
2) Loadcell input display
3) English / Spanish operation.
