There’s excitement here at Converting Systems!

Our growth over the past several years continues to be steady for both Converting Systems, which focuses on manufacturing new machinery and offers machine rebuilding services, and CSI-Parts, our replacement part division.  At the end of 2018, we officially hired our 20th full-time employee and in May of this year we’ll celebrate our 20-year anniversary. Although we are proud of these specific milestones, we are well aware that they are the direct result of our ongoing commitment to provide our customers with solutions that keep their production floor up and running.
 
In 2018, we made a commitment to re-evaluate, improve and strategically expand our company's internal processes. Our goal was to make sure we had the right people in all the right positions. Over the course of the year, CSI hired eight new employees, including an Electrical Engineer, a Controls Engineer, a Machine Builder, two Machinists, an Inside Sales Representative, an Accounting Manager, and a Process Control Assistant. These additions to our staff not only provided a much-needed boost in our internal capability, they also helped streamline our internal systems.  Now, each of our employees is better able to focus on and be accountable for their part of the machine building process and spare part fulfillment. As we begin 2019, our customers can depend on us to build (and rebuild) a higher caliber of machinery, as well as be more responsive to their needs.
 
We are currently developing a strategic initiative to expand our reach beyond the US into Latin America. Our participation in NPE2015 and NP2018 generated first-hand feedback by business owners from Mexico and 13 of the 19 Central and South American countries. Their frustration with not being able to find credible machine builders and rebuilders inspired us to develop a plan to provide services that are specific to their requirements. This April, we will be heading to Mexico City to exhibit at Plastimagen2019.  If you plan on attending this show, please stop by our booth (#555).
